Jane and Tony welcome you to the Pantiles, an English Tourism Council 4 Diamond rated Bed and Breakfast. The Pantiles is a converted Bedfordshire onion loft, once part of a typical market-gardening property. Some traces of Sandy’s Roman history have been found in and around the building.
The Pantiles is set in a wooded valley, overlooking lovely gardens and potager. Whilst in a delightful rural setting and peaceful surroundings, we are situated minutes from the mainline station, serving London and Peterborough, the A1 and local shops and services.
There are many picturesque villages to discover locally with pretty thatched cottages and country pubs, as well as good walking and cycle networks.
The R.S.P.B headquarters at the Lodge, Sandy is nearby, as is the Shuttleworth Collection and airfield at Old Warden with its regular flying events. Cambridge and Bedford are also within easy reach.
Tony runs a logging and timber business in the field adjacent to the gardens.
